A perfect restaurant in Dell City (one of only two. Of course, under 300 people live here). The food was excellent. The staff, without their mother working the kitchen, was a little overwhelmed by the large crowd. But again, great food and cheap prices (I had the large combination plate). I am so baffled at how anyone can give the food a 5 star rating! I'm 95% sure my enchiladas and rice both were from individual bags and microwaved. They were supposed to be beef but were only cheese. That wouldn't have even mattered much if they tasted even remotely OK. Taco Bell is a huge step up from whatever I was served. They were dry and there was no sauce or cheese besides what was already on them when they got nuked. I swear they were like gas station refrigerator case enchiladas. The thing is, the place is quaint and clean. The server was really sweet and the tea was great. Maybe I ordered the one thing everyone else knows you shouldn't order and the rest of the menu was great. I don't know. I was just really hoping for great food and I couldn't even finish it. I don't even feel good about leaving an honest review because the staff was so nice but the disappointment was so intense and the other reviews were the opposite of my experience, so I felt like it was necessary to write. They only serve breakfast and lunch. We got there later than usual and they were out of several things. We ended up getting burgers and fries. They were good but we prefer the Mexican food.
