So the first time I came here a few weeks ago (because) I saw on Yelp or some review website that they had really good breakfast burritos. I would have to agree based on that first experience, but I went again today and while they were still really nice people, the breakfast burrito I got was maybe half the size it was last time. Maybe half. Here’s the thing. I’d give them another chance, and I don’t really care if it costs a little more but I want a burrito like I had the first time. Yes I could’ve ordered two, and had I’d known they shrunk by (more than) half I’d have done that. But once I get it it’s hot. And I don’t want it to get cold or eat it there when I’m trying to get home. Please, please, please let it be a decent size next time or I won’t be back.

I don’t just eat rice and beans from anywhere but the rice and beans here were delicious!! The chicken in the chicken enchiladas was tasty and the chips and salsa to die for!! 🙏🏼
My brother enjoyed a pastor torta and I have to say I almost wanted to eat his torta too!!🤣
Delicious!

The prices for the most basic stuff for an authentic Mexican restaurant is way overpriced for one plate almost cost me 20$ go to El paseo or any other one like ponchos they make it worth ur purchase plus u get food for free after u buy the 20$ if u are by yourself highly recommend that place over this place

A coworker’s family owns this restaurant and I finally got the chance to try it out. This is some of the best tex Mex I have found in DFW. It reminds me of south Texas/RGV. The flavor is top notch. The papas are perfect. Not hard, not too soft… just perfect. The green salsa is THE BEST. They need to start bottling it. Loved the food and the vibes. Very homey. Will have to come back for lunch.
Best part of all…. Homemade flour tortillas. 🤍

This place serves THE BEST homemede breakfast burrito that I have EVER had. (You can order them to go as well.) Seriously!! The salsa is homemade, too!! I have eaten here many times and it's always great tasting homemade food. Highly recommend!!
Maybe we went on a bad day. The flour tortillas were awful, like they sat in grease. I've never had crunchy fajitas. Yuck. And the rice was seriously the most bland Spanish rice I've ever had. I've made better with minute rice and a jar of picante sauce.
And while I'm all for the family owned restaurant experience, it might not be a good idea to have the bored preteen daughter as the only waitress. I'm not spoiled but I shouldn't have to ask "do we get chips and salsa?", or track her down to ask when I need a refill on tea or even have to ask for a napkin.
I wanted to like the place but I didn't.

Family owned and family run business. Delicious home cooking style food! The gorditas are my favorite. Try the chicharrón, slightly crisp, with just the perfect amount of kick. My boyfriend ordered a breakfast burrito which was flavorful and a pancake. Pancake was huge, be sure to top it with butter, syrup and PEANUT BUTTER! You won't regret it. And my favorite thing of all is the music they play. Really sets a great atmosphere while enjoying the fantastic food. Blessings to all the Rosa's Grill family always! We'll definitely be back.
