I come to visit my family twice a year and every time I come I have to have Rosa’s Cafe at least five or more times while I’m visiting. My family frequently visits Rosa’s Cafe as well. Last night our visit was the most unpleasant experience we’ve ever had. The receipt said the cashiers/window greeters name was Timothy.E that can’t be correct because there was a younger African American girl with what I believe is called corn rolls in her hair. She was extremely rude, rolled her eyes, and very snappy. We didn’t get salsa, asked for sweet tea, but she took it back twice and gave the same tea. Everything was thrown in the bag and as you can see from the image the tamales were disgusting. I’ve never seen anything like this before and was saddened by this experience. I love that Rosa's came to North Texas. Always excellent food and prices. And if that's not enough, their tortillas might be the literal best ever!! My new practice- I travel for work. My first morning back in town is to visit the Mansfield location and enjoy the breakfast plate.... Those tortillas are magical! My first time going to Rosa's. Fantastic is a good word to describe this restaurant. I'm a big fan of the bean & and guacamole toastsdo and I had two of them here, for lunch. They tasted delicious and had adequate portions of refried beans and guacamole. The lettuce tomatoes and cheese on top were fresh. Really loved the salsa bar also. I highly recommend this restaurant. Good Cafe with Mexican Food. Really good atmosphere. Food Quality and Quantity is good. Tacos are Good. We ordered Beef Fajitas, they were good but quality of beef is not up to mark. Lot of parking and sitting place. Open till 10 pm. There is nothing open than late in this area so always crowded. Restroom are not that clean but not that bad either. Love tortilla making machine. Open kitchen. Kids friendly place. Menu is really good. Overall good place in area. For what we wanted, it is a great restaurant. The atmosphere is well designed with attention to many Latin details. The food was fine and it was entertaining to watch the tortillas being made and heated. Customer service was right on. Pricing was acceptable. Food options for toppings was a wide variety. Called in an order of fajitas, got in the Vette ran over picked up my order that was on time with all the fixings. The food was delicious and not over priced... I'm from Florida and I wasn't sure what to expect here but when I walked through those doors I was greeted with the smell of fresh salsa and tortillas so soft you could wrap yourself in them like a blanket. I ordered a taco plate with rice and beans, the food was prepared quickly and it looked fresh and delicious. I stopped over at the salsa bar to add some more spice to my meal which just kicked up the taste even more. I had a first class ticket to flavor town and it did not disappoint! When I visit again I will definitely be making a stop here again. We have eaten here a few times. The staff are very nice and efficient. The fresh flour tortillas is the best item here. The bean burritos are also very good. They have a very nice salsa bar set up. The crunchy beef tacos did not have enough meat and (like Taco Bell) you are mainly eating tortilla, lettuce and tomato. The tamales are expensive and are about 1/3 of the size of a traditional tamale. Getting free chips is inconsistent. During one visit, they were given to us. During another visit, I had to ask for them. All of the breakfast items are red meat. I would suggest adding chicken to some of the dishes.
