when i tell you it's the best chicken and mac cheese that i have ever eaten you can take it seriously because i eat a lot of chicken. the honey mild fried chicken plate i cant even describe how good it is. and we for two big plates of food for 30 dollars... Came in on a Sunday (2-24) around lunchtime. The line was to the door, but they had two registers open. So the line moved pretty quickly. The food comes out piping hot. Some of the best fried chicken I've eaten in the area. Crunchy on the outside and juicy inside. All sides were also really good. Food is priced very reasonable. I would recommend giving them a try. My daughter really wanted to go to Rockys while we were in town for the Stevie Nicks concert. So, of course we had to go there for lunch the next day! We got there right as they opened, so it wasn't busy at that time. I was glad we did, too, because they were getting slammed as we were getting ready to leave. My daughter and I both got chicken tenders with two sides. I chose the hot honey (delicious), and she ordered the Rockys Hot. The guy did warn her that it would be spicy, which she was fine with. The thing that she couldn't get past though was the mound of seasoning on her chicken tenders. Rockys is a little on the pricier side, so I was very relieved when one of the workers came by to ask how everything was and offered to replace hers with the hot honey tenders. That really saved the experience for us. As mentioned, it's a little pricey, but I do have to say, the tenders were huge. My daughter also got a vanilla shake, which she thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered fried green tomatoes (one of my favorites), and they were pretty good. I would say that if you're close by and have never been, you should give it a shot. Every worker we encountered was friendly, the food was fresh, and the environment was clean. The food here is so delicious and the staff is so nice! I also love the laid-back atmosphere. Portion size is great and I always take leftovers home. The wife and I stopped here for dinner. We have a friend in Nashville so we love scoping out hot chicken places. The wife got the chicken and waffles in medium honey with Mac and cheese with sweet potatoes casserole. The chicken tenders were flavourful, crispy, and had a kick. And the side was amazing as well. I got the hot chicken sandwich and the chicken was the same. Crispy, flavourful and had a kick. I also got an order.of the extra hot tenders. They were made with ghost peppers and I love trying ghost pepper wings. I would say their extra hot weren't that hot nor that flavourful. But the hot chicken and the honey medium were both amazing.
