Be leary of the old white witch in the front. I am an hr+ away from home driving Uber and need to use the bathroom after dropping off a different employee. She rudely looks me up and down, racially profiles me and then tells me there is no bathroom. Karma is well...like this witch.

Great rest stop during bike trips. Bike rack right next to the store, water fountain & dish for pupper, tables & seating.
Products are reasonably priced, and the Meat Dept. is pristine and well kept.
They also carry Jelich Ranch Apple juice which is objectively and consistently the best apple juice I've had in the entire Bay Area.

Fantastic place to get a casual meal or snack., or food to take home. The ladies in Portola Valley are busy driving or working, and this Grocery provides much needed take out food "support". The takeout is high quality as is the regular meat counter, bakery, and produce. Yes, expensive.... But definitely a divine shopping experience. I wish this place were close to my home. Worth every penny.
