What a hidden gem in Eau Claire. Had the Italian beef sandwich and it was amazing. Tastes just like a true Chicago beef. The staff was friendly and everything was super clean, including the bathroom. The ice cream was the perfect end to great food. Will be returning really soon. So sad it took me so long to find this place. Had a 4 egg omelette with lots of veggies bacon and cheddar and it was delicious! Everyone who was serving me was attentive and very nice, and the establishment was clean! This place used to be a DQ but they did it so well they had to change their name lol. This food here is fantastic! They offer a great foot long hotdog with actual fried onions. The mixers are huge and come in many varieties. The only negative thing about the Roadside is the wait. The staff is friendly and efficient but they are popular so you are waiting with the crowd. All and all a true treasure of Eau Claire!

Had breakfast burrito with hashbrowns was huge . A bit on the spendy side but portions are large . Hashbrowns were salty and let them know and burrito wrap was a little dry and could've had more egg and cheese in it . Got salsa, and it is spicy 😋 which they did tell me . GF ordered breakfast bowl with hashbrowns with all veggies,wishes she didn't get broccoli with it . Hers was very good 👍 and large portion. Total with tip $50 I had coffee and GF had soda .

The drive thru person was really nice. I usually come for ice cream but today I wanted a fried chicken sandwich. I am highly disappointed. The sandwich was just salt and batter and grease with diced onions-why!?- and pickles. Would not recommend. Couldn't even finish the $11 DOLLAR SANDWICH (culvers is $6) due to the amount of salt. And the bun wasn't even toasted. 15 minute wait to end up not even getting to eat my first meal of the day.

Very good. One of the better places to stop for a quick bite. You can usually tell how much the owners care about putting out good food based on simple overlooked ingredients like bacon. And this place has VERY good bacon. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

My husband and I go here often. The food is a little higher because the portions are HUGE!!! The service is outstanding as well!! Here is our photos from last nights dinner after we had eaten a lot of it. Highly recommend!!!

Nice family run restaurant in Eau Claire. Prices are a bit high, but the portions are huge, so it works out. Hot fudge sundae, Bacon Cheeseburger with pepperjack. Update 2022/07/03 - Still excellent. Today was a Hot fudge sundae, and Pork Loin Sandwich with Bacon and pepperjack.

The sandwiches were so big. The chicken sandwich was tender and juicy. You get to pick toppings and the kids meal came with a two level cookie sandwich. Would so go back again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

This old Dairy Queen franchise is now a phenomenal little restaurant with super staff! The servings are very plentiful and tasty. They have daily specials that CAN'T be beat. My favorite special is the Thursday buy one-get one burger. If you have room for a treat after your meal or just stop in for a treat, you will not be disappointed. They have a wide range of hearty sizes in all their ice cream novelty items.
