I've eaten bbq all across la. and tx. For decades. Can't understand why making great bbq is so difficult. I judge there fare by the great home cooking done by family members and myself. Rib Crib has found a repeatable procedure that simply produces the best results possible. There's only one place in la. that compares. Try it and be impressed. Delicious!!! The Greenville, TX store had reasonable prices, good service by Ryan and tasty food. Thanks for having traditional mashed potatoes. Please serve BBQ Pinto Beans. They're so good with the bbq sauce and a little jalapeno in them. I don't always want sweet beans. The 3 rib plate was so good but I forgot to take a picture. Service was great also traffic was slow so it should be great. Food was hot all flavorful no complaints from the family .Our alcohol beverages were tasty and decently priced. Negatives first: There’s no entrance into parking lot (which is small) from frontage road (you have to go down and turn in front of Panda Express and come in through the back or use the unpaved road right after you turn). Brisket came out cold which was a bummer when you pay an extra $2 to get it added to the meat meals. The waitress seamed to be short with us but still overall good service, could have been a long day or just in a bad mood. Positives: We were greeted immediately as we entered and sat quickly for being a larger party. Food was great (minus the hot links which weren’t bad just not traditional East Texas Style and chips were greasy). Food came out fairly quickly as well. The chips and queso were good but half the chips came out greasy. LOVED the brisket baked potato! Drinks come in plastic cups that you can take home with you which was a great souvenir for us. Sides are average size for 1 person. My husband and daughter did the 4 meat pick with added sides and I got the brisket baked potato. We were all very satisfied. They offer 3 different BBQ’s on the table (Regular, Hot and North Carolina). The whole place was clean, even the bathrooms. They do offer a military discount of 10% which was nice.
