While the prices may be on the higher side, the quality of the food justifies the cost. Their menu features a variety of dishes, including combination dinners, teriyaki beef with asparagus rolls, and tempura teishoku. The jumbo stuffed shrimp, however, did not live up to its name and was stuffed with imitation crab instead of the promised jumbo shrimp. On the other hand, the toro sashimi was a melt-in-your-mouth experience that left a lasting impression. For drinks, they offer unlimited piping hot green tea on the house, as well as cocktails, soft drinks, and wines. The blueberry cream cheese pie and mud pie ice cream make for delectable desserts. While the restaurant's size is limited, it does feature outdoor seating for those who prefer to dine al fresco. They do require masks upon entry as of July 2022. The service can be slow but is generally friendly and attentive. Overall, Restaurant Miwa is a fine dining spot worth visiting for its authentic Japanese cuisine and cozy ambiance.
