Come here for a drink after a long walk around Zaanse Schans. Nothing can be better than ordering perfectly cooked bacon, op la and soup. Have a good time here and share tasty crepes, Dutch pancakes and apple pie with your friends. Delicious wine is served at this restaurant. A collection of great cappuccino or good hot chocolate is provided to visitors. De Kraai is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. You will appreciate democratic prices. The cozy atmosphere has been noted by the guests. But a number of clients who use Google didn't grant this place a high rating.

Stopped by during Windmill tour. Staff very friendly. Strawberry pancake made to order with generous portions of whipped cream, delicious! Will recommend. I'm not sure what people complain about, the pancakes were delicious, I had the bacon and cheese one, the apple pie was also tasty and the tomato soup alright. This is a self service restaurant so, don't expect table side service. Bathrooms are free if you dine here, as with any tourist attractions. Totally recommend it! The place is quite big. We were travelling with our pet dog, the staff were quite polite and also got our dog some ice (on our request) to keep him hydrated. We ordered dutch pancakes here with coffee. They were scrumptious Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Must visit to get some Dutch pancakes. Okay… it’s not exactly my favourite but definitely worth a try. For myself, while it’s interesting to try the savoury pancake with Dutch cheese, I would still prefer the sweet alternative. It’s cool to see the giant pancake cooker that can cook a dozen pancake at a time. They are serve beer from local brewery Hoop which is across the canal. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Must stop place to grab some savory pancakes while you are visiting Zaans Schans. We went on a cold day and all the seats inside on the main level were taken. Luckily we discovered that they have seating on a second floor and found a cozy upper room to enjoy our pancakes. Very good food. Reasonable prices. It was a self service restaurant where you could get a drink, soup or pancakes. The entrance and self service area was like any other restaurant but the place to sit inside looked much better. Very busy touristic place of course but good enough to taste pancakes in Dutch way. There is place to sit outside when the weather is good. You then have a nice view.
