It was worth the drive to come see the largest trees in the world. There is one tree here that is almost 380 feet tall. The trails through the area are amazing.
Absolutely breathtaking
Wish there was at least One spot at the visitors center big enough for a 30ft RV to park. Since the only way to the main tree is by foot. Since there's a campground they send that shouldn't be a problem. Signage could have been better also, since there's no GPS signal and the visitors center was closed at 9am. We drove past the Giant one and couldn't park in the parking lot so we could get out and walk to it. Big disappointment!
worth the drive to see these amazing trees. My kid had been talking about giant trees he had seen at a local park and i was telling him about the giant redwoods in this area. We were headed up north to visit family and we drove through here... he said the trees took his breath away by how big they were. They were truly an amazing sight to see and marvel at
Great! I always get this Jurassic park feeling when being there. You feel like in the primeval times.

You have to see it for yourself....trees, older than the Egyptian Pyramids and pushing 380ft in height....mind boggling and beautiful.
I have made the photos along the Gould Grove Nature Trail. This short loop trail features 300' tall trees and evidence of early logging. Trailhead: Directly across the road from the Visitor Center. Length: 0.6 miles. This trail is perfect for those who are in a hurry.
