This place was nice and I liked the environment. I also liked the lobster meal but I didn’t like the sauce that was on it. It tasted like lemonade mustard seed dressing and I did not like it but other than that it was pretty good and I’ll probably be back someday later which could be soon. 👍🏽 Keep up the good work. Food was alright - no complaints. On the other hand, the service was HORRIBLE.... Although it was Valentine's Day, management should've been ready and they were NOT. Places our order on line and app said it would be ready at 7:49pm. I arrived at 7:40. Waited in line until 9:20. Finally got my food. I should've checked my bag. I arrived home and opened what I thought was an Admirals Feast and it was chips in the pan. My wife's order wasnt right. They gave us the wrong order. I got back in my vehicle - went back and shared the mistake and I received no I'm sorry...no we will fix it immediately - NOTHING. I was told I had to wait - as if I made the error. When I finally got the food, they still didn't say anything about being sorry for the wait - NOTHING. Needless to say, there were a bunch of other people who waited for 2-3 hours. I finally asked for a manager and manager never came. I have a lot of patience - all I wanted was an acknowledgement of what was happening and a courtesy comment for those of who placed orders online and Paid. I didn't finally eat until after 10pm. Service was terrible took 20 minutes for the waiter to come. It took another 15-20 minutes just to get some water. When she came with the water me and my husband ordered our appetizers and entrees. The waiter didn’t return at all, not to check on us or even to give a status on our order. So after 40 minutes of waiting we decided to talk to a manager. The manager stated that he would be to our table in a moment. He then walked to the back, after 20 minutes of waiting we decided to leave. The fact we were there for 2+ hours and was only served water is terrible. The service we received from both the waiter and manager was very unprofessional and careless . Not as good as I've had before. For tge Price you pay for The Ultimate Feast, Crab Legs were to small and No Flavor. Stuffed Mushrooms were delicious. Lobster tail was a little tough. My best friend and I came for our monthly Red Lobster get together and we chose the Matteson location because it was a half way point for us (normally we go to the Munster, IN location). I haven't been to this location in years and I probably won't be back anytime soon. We both ordered the Endless Shrimp and it took 45 MINUTES from the moment we were seated to when we got our food...and they were NOT crowded. We didnt complain most because we were busy catching up but the kitchen was just extremely slow. Then on top of it, we were told by our AMAZING waitress Gabby that they literally had NO SILVERWARE AVAILABLE. So she gave us the black, plastic silverware sets they use for their to go orders. We inquired again about the silverware halfway through the meal and found out they haven't had silverware in THREE DAYS. The manager never stopped by our table to apologize for the inconvenience or put up a notice about this so you know before you're seated. The food was good but my friend's broccoli was over cooked. It took time to get our refills of course but again the restaurant was NOT full and our waitress was constantly on the go so it had to be something behind the scene that caused the delay. The restaurant was clean overall but there were layers of dust on all of the fixtures on the walls around the table as well. The best thing was our waitress was Gabby, she did her best and managed to somewhat save the experience for us.
