my experience at RB’s steakhouse was not good. Firstly, I arrived at the restaurant on Sunday and we waited for someone to come and direct us to our table. It took a while but we sat down and the table was extremely dirty, clearly showing that it had not been cleaned to serve us. We waited even longer for someone to come because it was the weekend, the same girl who would be the “host”, was the waitress and the person who made the drinks… they need to have more people working for better service, right? Anyway, we ordered fish & chips and the flavor was good, but the fish was very greasy. for the main course, I ordered a steak fettuccine and the score from 0 to 10 would be a 4… the meat was just right and tender, but with little seasoning. The pasta only saved it because it was at the right point too, but the sauce was really bad, without any seasoning, without salt, I didn't like it. My guest and I each ordered a soda and when it ran out, they didn't even bother to come to the table to get a refill. Bad service too. very disappointed! Great local steakhouse, kind of a weird place but not necessarily in a bad way. People drinking and smoking out in the patio even when it's cold at night, bar on the bottom floor then a restaurant on the second floor. Service is excellent, steaks were fantastic. Enjoy the baked potato but the mac and cheese was the stand out side, also enjoy the French onion soup. Places were very reasonable for the quality and size of portions. Plenty of parking out front in cedar Glen. Definitely one of my favorite local spots.
