Ramona Beef & potatoes burrito is my all time favorite since I moved here back in the late 80s. Now they're a little stingy with the Beef, it's like the commercial "where's the Beef!?" The taste is still as I remember. Ramonas has changed tremendously as far as the taste of the food is concerned it's like they took something out. Since day one, I've been a faithful patron of this establishment – literally! While the food continues to delight my taste buds, I can't help but wish for slightly more generous portions. This has been one of our favorite places for take out Mexican food for years. We found this gem when we moved to the South Bay in 2011. In the last couple of years, prices have increased quite a bit (like most other places). We hadn't been for a while but dropped by to grab some food tonight. Burritos were over $9.00 - I always add lettuce, for an extra charge... Just came home and there was no lettuce in my burrito and hardly any chicken in my green chicken burrito... Was disappointed that the quality didn't seem to stay the same as prices increased. Hoping we caught them on an off night. The location on Crenshaw was closest to us, but since it's closed we went to Western location and it's too far to drive back for lettuce. First world problems, I know.
