Finally some burb’ Cuban! Tried the pan con bistec (steak) y queso (cheese) with yuca frita - large portions, super fresh ingredients, and garlic sauce was dreamy 🫶🏼 Cafe con leche to start my weekend strong was soooo good too. 10/10 Worth the stop — has good parking and right off most highways coming from south and north. 🫡 Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Brand new restaurant in Des plaines! Had a lechon Cuban sandwich and arroz con gandules, fried yucca. Everything was delicious. I definitely will be back to try white rice and black beans and ropa vieja Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
"Que Bola" stands out as a gem for Cuban sandwich aficionados, offering a delightful culinary journey to the heart of Cuba without leaving town. Our Cuban sandwichs were so delicious!! We passed our plates around the table 🥳 all sandwiches made with perfectly pressed fresh Bread and Plantain, seasoned pork and steak. Garlic Heavn!! My parents ate so much, more then usual lol we had to forcefully pull my mom up from the table "everyone pullll" I had to slow them down from over eating. we had so much food on the table 🔥🔥🔥🥰 Each bite is a testament to the chef's dedication to traditional flavors, while service is warm and welcoming, making our visit memorable. Whether you're a Cuban cuisine veteran or new to its flavors, "Que Bola" promises an experience that's both satisfying and genuinely authentic. Thank you for making my elderly parents smile!! ❤️ Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went there today no knowing they opened today! Environment is amazing with the music and the owner talking to customers (which is a great sign in my opinion). Talked to the owner as well and had a great conversation with him The best Cuban food I had in Chicagoland 100000% 10000% coming back for more food Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Everything about this cafe is 5 stars! The food is fresh and delicious, the staff is friendly and the cortadito (1000x better than Starbucks) is the only 2pm pick me up you’ll need! Bypass the major fast food chains in this area and support small business! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

As a Rican living close I am so freaking happy this place opened. Everything was out of this world and I ordered carry out. Still amazing when I got home. The ropa vieja empanada, the tostones and the mojo with it, heaven on earth. The Cuban sandwich, the cortadito, I will be back and will tell everyone I know. Delicious! Went with the cubano sandwich and the ropa vieja sandwich, both were outstanding. I'm a huge fan of sweet plantains so I was really into the idea of plantains in the sandwich, but may not be for everyone. Also had a solid cafe con leche and the flan for dessert. The flan was pretty but tasted burnt and I couldn't eat more than a couple of bites, it might have been overcooked. Everything else was so awesome I'm not even mad about the flan. Looking forward to trying the empanadas and guava desserts next time. Would love to see a medianoche option on the menu at some point, as it's my husband's favorite.
