We recently moved to the area and after trying most local restaurants, pioneer has made its way to the top of our list as a reliably good quality take out meal. Every time I come back I’m reminded how good food can be. Beyond the food the staff makes sure each person is looked after and cared for. Do not discount this establishment as some mom and pop burger joint. The menu is beyond well thought out and the staff absolutely crushes look forward to each dining experience and wish I could eat there everyday. Well worth the drive out of Burlington and I’m not sure there’s a Burlington restaurant I’d choose over pioneer. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel welcome your whole stay and I really appreciated that. Breakfast menu is limited. Was slightly disappointed when an omlette was not on menu but they had all ingredients needed for omlette. When I asked if I could order one I was told it could not be made. I have also has a chicken sandwich that was very yummy. The poutine was disappointing though. Did not have curds of cheese and just didn't taste like poutine.. just tasted like frys with some side of can gravy.
