We ate here a day ago and came back again today. It's become a staple for me every time I visit Gozo! The staff are super down to earth and friendly, and the food is absolutely exquisite. I eat a lot of Chinese food in Malta. However, it does not compare to this hearty restaurant. I came here because I am vegan and the reviews online saying there were plenty of Vegan options. I didn’t book in advance and it was a Saturday night, they accommodated me as I was on my own to which I was very grateful as they were very busy. The place is clean and well presented and the staff are quick to assist. I was NOT disappointed! The food was Amazing!!! I would even go as far to say best Chinese I have ever had! I thought I would try something different and I don’t usually go for aubergine but I was pleased I did, it was cooked beautifully! So flavoursome! I have never had aubergine taste so good! I couldn’t eat everything as the portions are very generous and they were totally fine about packing up the rest for me to take back to my BNB. I was thrilled as I got to enjoy it again the next day! This unassuming restaurant doesn't look much from the outside, but inside its great, with nice decorations and blossom tree. The food was tasty and good sized portions reasonably priced. My wife forgot her shawl and one of the staff ran down the street to bring it to us after we left. Staff were all friendly. Recommend a visit! Great for vegans! We ordered the vegetable spring rolls and steamed vegetable dumplings to start, both delicious. My husband ordered the Mapo tofu and although it wasn't on the menu I asked for crispy tofu in sweet and sour sauce, we also ordered the stir fried vegetables in garlic as a side. I don’t want to sound ignorant, but I was surprised this kind of restaurant even existed in Gozo, especially Asian food of good standards. I ordered Won ton soup as I was craving some comfort food from home and my friend ordered sushi. This place has many options for food. But it makes me wonder if everything is fresh for the fact how many options they have. But I would recommend this place it has a great feel. Food was great, I had the vegetable dumplings for the starter and the mapo tofu for the main - both were delicious! The restaurant itself is very cute: the decorations and lighting were my favourite thing about Ping’s Dynasty! Service was excellent and I really enjoyed my cocktails 😁 Portion sizes were just right and for the vegetarians out there, there’s a whole separate section to choose from! The restaurant itself is located in Victoria with free parking just across the street. Coming in, the restaurant is very nicely and tastefully furnished and the staff is just incredible. We really got feeling they enjoyed us being there and they were all super friendly, respectful and attentive. We initially wanted to eat sushi and then decided for a menu with a starter "platter" as well as a variety of main dishes and dessert. We enjoyed all the courses, especially the main, where the meat was not just super delicious but also very tender and well seasoned. We were not able to empty all the plates, since we already were fuller then expected from the starter. We felt very sorry about not being able to finish all the food and also talked to one of the waitresses about it. Takeaway would have been the obvious solution but since we are about to leave Malta it would have not made much sense. Our suggestion was to either decrease the portion size of the mains or make the starter more lighter. But I guess this always depends on the person and of course on what the restaurant thinks is best. But you can be assured, you won't leave hungry! Overall, this was a great experince for our last night at Malta and we are very thankful to the waiting - and kitchen team, that made our night. :) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
