Well, second time here and it was nowhere near as good as the first. I ordered shrimp fajita quesadillas, the shrimp was rubbery (overcooked) and had no seasoning at all. The tamales my husband ordered were not good either. The salsa tasted like it came out of a jar. Good thing was the kids ate but what can go wrong with a cheese quesadilla? Great food and to me the best Mexican food. Been awhile since I visited Pepes due to none in my immediate area but it was just as I remembered. The burrito suizo was very good a bit smaller than in the past but full of flavor. The pork tacos are the best.
