PennDel's is my neighborhood bakery, and it is so familiar that I almost forgot to write about their top notch delicious baked goods. Real French croissants (I lived in Paris, so I know what I am talking about), a Tiramisu to die for, and the best carrot cake that I have ever eaten in my life. Every single crumb is delicious. Apricot and pecan bars are a must-have for first-time visitors. Or just pick up a cake for a loved one, you can't go wrong. PennDel's was born from a love of baking and community. Just had their croissant bread pudding for my birthday breakfast! What a way to start my day! It was delicious!! I bought it a few days ago and reheated as instructed and it tasted sooo fresh! Tried Pendell’s Bakery for the first time today, because I was considering ordering a birthday cake. The ladies working there are nice and welcoming. The slice of cake I ordered was pretty good and moist. However, I agree with the other reviews that said their cupcakes did NOT taste fresh! It’s not like I ate the cupcakes immediately, I left them out at room temperature for a few hours and still, the cupcakes were dry and neither the frosting nor the cupcake itself gave fresh. I actually wanted to order a cake during one month, followed by three dozen cupcakes for the following month, but now I’m not so sure and will continue looking elsewhere. I randomly stumbled upon this bakery and let me Just say the customer service is phenomenal pack that with amazing pastries and VEGAN options oh and did I mention custom made cakes if you have allergies like me!!!! ❤️😩 the vegan cupcakes were so fresh and delicious and creamy I cannot wait to go back. Highly recommend

Stopped by one morning to grab some breakfast. Left with a cheesecake, a croissant, and a few scones. Everything was good, but the cheesecake and scones were beyond. The owners were very kind as well!

Their baked goods are some of the best. We served this tiramisu at a special family dinner and at least three people said that it was the best they had ever had. PennDell's has a relatively small menu but everything that I've had from there is exellent.
