Me and my partner both enjoyed the atmosphere, scenery and especially the food here. We had a delightful lady (Qian) serving us who went above and beyond to make our night enjoyable- she was a wonderful person and a great attribute to the restaurant. Thankyou for making our time in Hoogeveen that little bit better Qian🧡. I’d highly recommend this restaurant. This is a really nice venue for especially for large groups and families. The service is good, quick and staff are friendly and polite. The atmosphere is really good. Similar places cram tables close together but here you have a good comfortable distance for you and your party. The food is pretty good too but a little heavy and they could add a few salads to all the meat they do here. We njoyed it. Waited 15 min and nobody came to bring menus. I went to ask for menus and I was given the dinner menu which they weren’t serving till 17:00. The waiters had absolutely no interest in serving me the clients.

I can keep on focusing of such a great view which is a fact, I can also talk about the infrastructure of the restaurant which is indeed great and well designed, but I can tell you, is the first time i have experience such service in the Netherlands, the host Lady was super polite and happy invite us to enter the facilities. But a different chapter is the waitress, she kept smiling during all our visit ( i can tell this is contagious) she brought the menu super fast,helped us decide what to order and brought it in less than 5 minutes!!! Later on asking for the bill was in a blink of an eye and of course thanking us. Im definitely going back!!! Very poor service. We booked a table for 8:30 PM. When we were ready to order dinner by 9:15 PM they informed that kitchen is closed. No single person from the time of entry or while taking order for drinks said anything about kitchen closing time. With friends and family it was very frustrating. We ended up cooking at our cottage.

Service was top and friendly servers. Great food and no. 15 red wine.. Highly recommended guys👍🎉🍷🍱

Arrived on Saturday afternoon and asked for a spot. Was told to go sit outside just as the heavens opened up and it started bucketing down. No apologies were offered or an explanation that the almost empty restaurant was apparently "full". I asked if they had looked outside yet and got the answer that it's part of the deal when you sit outside and to take it or leave it. Customer service is unknown to the staff and in my opinion they should be properly re-trained in how to talk to and treat customers. I have many years of experience in the F&B but it can't get any worse than this. Apparently they are not interested in treating prospective customers properly. Even one star is too much for a treatment like this!

Great setting. PN is located on a (artificial) beach location where you can swim, climb, bounce etc - great place for kids and young adults. Parents can enjoy drinks in the pavilion. Pavilion is built to a very good standard, and is nicely decorated inside. The outside sitting area is also very nice with views of the swimming area, and play areas. Nice place for coffee and cake, and the deserts and sweets are good too. Only downside (and this is the reason I give only 4 stars) is the service (mostly young folks that don’t always know what they are doing and with their mind on other things) and the starters and main meals are also disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it, if food is important to you. But otherwise this is a 5-star venue and a great place to have a drink and snack, and relax.

Food was absolutely great! Thick 5 star rating there. The service? That was horrible. They mean well, but the staff was just to inexperienced. We got wrong food at our table for dessert and the main course + wrong products on the receipts. Would come again for the food though :)
