I’ve visited Papis Chicken several times and I have always been pleased with each dish! I got the half chicken, fried rice, and black beans. All was good, but that chicken is 5 ⭐️ worthy! If you want some of the BEST chicken in the Leland/Wilmington then you got to visit Papis! Also the atmosphere is awesome to dine in and there is plenty of parking! We found long black hair in the food. No one in our family has dark hair, so we know it wasn't ours! We asked for our money back, but the rude manager refused. Terrible and unsanitary people here. Double check your food folks!! My family used to eat here often but not anymore! We will travel into wilmington for safer food and better prices, and most of all, better customer service. Don’t EAT there! Staff very rude, they are charging for portions that they are not giving customers. Less food, they are only filling their containers half full. I know Spanish and they were talking very rude about us. The manager that wears the hair net treats customers rudley and never smiles. I heard the owner got sent back to Mexico.
