I was craving a pastry and wound up here. I could smell the fresh bread as I came around the corner onto Montgomery Road. I bought two pastries ad so far I've only eaten the empanada de piña but it was delicious. Eager to go back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

When I first discovered this bakery, I was so excited because it's hard for me to find a Mexican bakery where they have fresh bread baked on-site. Many Mexican tiendas I've noticed ship in the specialty breads from the nearest bakery, which can end up feeling hard and stale. I was even happier to find out that this bakery bakes fresh throughout the day and they are open later than many bakeries! I'm so excited to be able to enjoy fresh conchas and marranitos. They are soft and flavorful and super satisfying. I'm also happy that they have pan de muerto all the time. I hope they have a lot of success.
