The only slight issue today was that the restaurant had a haze from not enough ventilation in the kitchen. But Ashley was a wonderful waitress with a great personality and attentive to our needs without being overbearing. Our Reuben and fries were delicious as well as the chicken strips and fried okra. The food and service were good. My son really liked his pizza. It was a little loud from the employees talking across the room and The floor wasn't maintained very well, but I liked the friendliness of the staff and "local" environment. I may give another try. Typical cafe environment. Had the loaded biscuits and gravy. Was good, says has sausage gravy but you better add sausage if you really want any meat with it. Wife was happy with the Reuben. Very crowded but that's usually a sign of good food. My hash browns were definitely not done worth my liking but there wasn't anything inedible. My husband had the burrito and he said it was very good but the buiscuts and Gravy were lacking. Husband said the men's bathroom was horrible. Came is Saturday morning 09/30/2023 Had a great meal. Yummy. Went to pay for my meal and was Charged $654.00 and then charged again for my meal. Which was $54.00 That’s over $700.00 out of my account. I was told it would be Tuesday before my money went back in the bank. I got no hey I’m sorry we will comp your meal no nothing. I was I supposed to buy groceries that afternoon or Gas for my vehicle. Owner did not care. He went back to the kitchen to get ready for a Catering job he had that afternoon. Please don’t let the elderly lady run the register and have a little more compassion for the people that spend money in Your Cafe. Staff was great. Owner not so much. I’d like to start out by saying, any breakfast joint that lets me get lunch for breakfast is a winner in my book. I’m not a big breakfast fan, and I was bummed they did not have an eggs Benedict on the menu. The burger though… $9.99 for a double cheese burger and fries. I was expecting those paper thin patty’s that I need to eat 4-8 of just to feel somewhat satiated. No. Think again. Two, hand made? Thick burger patty’s. Amazing. Such a great deal.
