We ordered a couple beers and a cheese pizza and sat at the bar. The pizza was one of the best we've ever had. Dan, I think his name was, is awesome. So knowledgeable about all the beers, how they are made etc. Super guy. The interior is super cool, simple and rustic decor. Tons of outside tables so I'm sure its great in the summer. Meh, it's awesome if you visit once a year or if you're from out of town. The atmosphere is decent if not overly choreographed. The staff is friendly, though some of the guys are just super cool, maybe slightly territorial. The food is expensive for what you get, and the menu is limited. When I go there too often, I start to feel like I'm at a buddy's frat house. If it was 2 minutes from my house rather than 20, I think I'd still feel like it was a destination spot rather than a part of the community.
