Happy to have bragging rights for the only restaurant in Twin Lake. We are so lucky to have the closest place to a real, down home, friendly neighborhood diner right here in our little village. There is even a nostalgic type lunch counter for those of us who enjoy eating up close to the heart of the action.
So many outstanding Pros:
Consistently good, deliciously prepared food; fresh, hot, and made to order. Must try their homemade bread baked daily. Mmm-mmm good and yummy! So soft, aromatic, tasty... and the texture is perfection! Adds a simple additional dimension to your meal you'll find yourself anticipating when you return the next time. Haven't been disappointed since they opened, calling Twin Lake home. Certainly a must try for hungry foodies near or far.
My favorite... Stuffed hash browns with homemade white bread toast and strawberry jam. It's like having dessert after breakfast!! YUMM!!!!
Fast, friendly service with a smile! Reasonably priced, nice portions, clean. Always busy, so be prepared to wait just a bit if eating in; never too long a wait tho. Take out orders are normally ready within 15 minutes.
Only one Con:
Beware the hours!! 8am to 1pm daily.
Open for breakfast and lunch only. Boohoo! Now open on Mondays I think. Yay!! Not sure about Tuesdays. I recommend checking the website, or with them directly.

I am from Twin Lake, now live in Colorado. Everytime we come home, eating at Overboard Inn is a must. The stuffed hash browns are my go-to. Their homemade raisin bread is also a must. A very friendly atmosphere, and we usually see people we haven’t seen in a long time. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

First we'll start off with the ordering, taking the order was very friendly and polite. Getting the ordering right however was wrong. I ordered a All Meet Omelet with added green pepper, onion & mushrooms w/ ex cheese. And all I got was vegg Omelet, the restaurant was very hot on the inside, no air Circulation, and a bit offishs, overall I'll not likely go back.

Food was delicious and very reasonable. Service was great. It’s a small diner so you could have a little bit of a wait but there are 2 benches available. Everything was delicious. Always order the homemade bread for a small up charge. The place itself is not very big or fancy but clean and simple. I highly recommend if you are in the area.

This place came highly recommended by two different friends. I finally tried it out for the first and last time. We got seated fast as we took the counter stools for two people. I loved the prices. My daughter and I ordered the steak and eggs. it took just over an hour to get our food. Two people had sat next to us and they received their food and was on their way while we still waited for ours. I had about 5 cups of coffee, they are great with refilling that. I asked the waitress if that was normal for the wait and she said no, the boss was not in and there was new cooks back there. Yet, after thinking about it. It didn't stop all other tables and people to get their food. I'm not sure if they're not used to making steak but the steak seemed pale, with barely a sear on it. Pretty sure they microwaved it at some point. The eggs were eggs and the pancakes were meh. we were left very disappointed. Never have I ever waited that long to receive food. $39 dollars including tip was a total rip off. I should have gotten something off for the extremely long wait. I wonder if the waitress forgot to put my order in. that's what it really sounds like happened after thinking about it.

Cleanest restaurant I've ever been in.
Had half order of stuffed hashbrowns and it was tasty with large pieces of veg mushroom onion cheese and bacon. Came with amazing raisin bread toast. Daughter loved her hot cocoa.

One of the best places we ate at while on vacation! The staff was friendly and the place was clean. I had bacon, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. My hubby had bacon, eggs, toast and a Belgian waffle. We shared an order of biscuits and gravy! Everything was so delicious and our server was super nice!! Would definitely eat here again!!
