Orion quickly became one of my favorite spots to grab a bite during my stay in NYC. A staple of Gramercy Park, this 24-hour diner has dishes for all tastes with a touch of Greek cuisine. I visited at least on five occasions at different times of day: the staff was always very kind and service was fast. You can't miss the breakfast waffle topped with Greek nonfat yogurt!

What a great diner to eat at after a night of partying and drinks with friends. Clean, quick, friendly, and very calm place to enjoy diner food. Lots of booths to sit in as well.

1- Food 5/5. Always very happy with the quality and preparation of the dishes we have tried.
2- Service 5/5. From the moment you enter this restaurant you are greeted warmly from a friendly hostess. Waitresses and waiters are friendly and accommodating. The owner of this restaurant who is always present definitely knows his stuff when it comes to running a diner.
3- Atmosphere 5/5. Very Greek like New York City diner feel. Exactly what you would expect a diner to look and feel like in manhattan.
4- Reservations 5/5. None taken. Nice size diner so they are usually very accommodating and they are open for service 24/7 ,,,365 days a year.
5- Value 4/5. I have been eating and ordering from this place for 35 years, I Would definitely recommend and return.

Overall, I give it a 5/5.
For food I would've put 4.5/5. My only issue is the panini I got, the bread was a bit overtoasted on the bottom, but not to the point where it was overpowering everything else. Everything else was great, nice atmosphere, friendly service, though in my opinion I think the prices for everything on the menu were a bit high, even though it's New York. I'm from Florida and we have prices that are at least 1/2 of most of everything on the menu.
I wish I could've stayed for dessert though, they all looked so good 🤤
I also want to thank the server/waiter for helping me find the subway I needed to get back to the airport.
