Went with some friends for the first time, and it was awesome. I got the 49ers, and they were maybe the best pancakes I've ever had. Plenty of butter, delicious syrup. The service was great. A few of us got a side of bacon (high quality bacon, cooked perfectly). The waitress felt some of the bacon wasn't perfect, so brought out another side of bacon, on the house. The place where everyone goes for breakfast! Although the place was packed, the staff did an excellent job feeding and servicing the patrons keeping a steady flow of hungry customers satisfied. The food was amazing. I got the big German and OMG it shocked me when it came out, my wife got the bacon waffle and absolutely loved it,, i got my daughter the band pancakes to go. The parking lot was packed and the restaurant was full but we walked in and sat down with no wait. Food was hot fresh and tasted so good we are coming back for sure. It's a little pricey but worth it honestly. Ordered their turkey sausage omelette with pepper jack cheese and got the buttermilk pancakes upgraded to banana pancakes. The food was delicious and very filling. omelette especially was given in ample quantity. Definitely worth the money . If ur looking for a nice weekend brunch . This is the place . No reservations. Seating is First come first serve basis. They do have long wait lines but clears up pretty soon. Friendly staff . Ambience is classic . TLDR : Come anytime before 10:30 AM for some deliciously, awesome pancakes. As stated, in the name of this restaurant, the pancakes of this establishment are nothing to be overlooked. At the same time the omelettes are so filling that you will not be leaving hungry and these even come with a choice of three pancakes on the side so you’re getting the best of both worlds . The service at the restaurant is normal, but you do have to give credit where credit is due. The servers here all have multiple tables and each table has minimum three people per table. The ambience is something to be admired. They have pictures everywhere with old slogans from ads. They also have an old-school TV with an old-school moon landing time magazine. Great conversations starters all around the restaurant to ensure that you are not bored and have something to comment about. Good breakfast place with the a choice of regular all American breakfast, pancakes and crepes (including sour). Liked the Canadian bacon, was really tasty. Also got crepes with peaches, tasty but with canned peaches, which is sad, considering the season for fresh ones is here. Put 3 starts because we waited for our food for good 20-30 min, and waitress didn’t come to check on us or let us know the food is on the way. It was Monday around noon, it wasn’t fully packed but there were people. Maybe the kitchen is understaffed. Services is okay. They bring your food, poor coffee, no more, no less. Which is okay, but not outstanding. Not trying to be difficult but those are the details that matter to me. Overall a pretty decent breakfast place.
