My husband and I decided to go out and yall were completely packed we opted to sit at the bar since it was just the 2 of us. The bartender JJ (I believe was her name) was our server she was absolutely amazing she made sure we were well taken care of. The food was just what I was in the mood for that night. We don't go out to often but it's nice to have a great server when we do. Keep ahold and value her as much as possible. We will be requesting her when we come back. We went last night and the parking lot was PACKED, we were a bit concerned on how long the wait would be but after I parked and went in, my wife and kids were already seated and had their drinks. I noticed they had a lot of servers. Come to find out, it seemed as though they were training. Our server was being trained, and he was great. Drinks were always filled at an appropriate time, breadsticks and salad came out quickly, and food was amazing. This location had their A game going on. After a horrible experience with a catering delivery this restaurant missed, I decided I would give them one last try and see if they could at least get my own personal dish correct. Boy did they go above and beyond and added flavors not available to the general public on the menu. When I unmasked my chicken Alfredo, I found a nice plump hair waiting for me right in the middle of my meal. I can usually can deal with a loose hair in food here and there but this was too much. I pulled on the hair and it continued to go and go and go, wrapping around multiple pieces of noodle and chicken. I settled for just the breadsticks and salad after this but can say with assurance I will not be returning to this Olive Garden location. Yuck. We sat at the bar. Bartender was very prompt and friendly. Food was hot and fresh and came out fast but evenly spread out so we could finish the app and then the salad. Timing was perfect. Olive Garden vary rarely fails me and this visit was no different. Probably one of the OG experiences we have had. Had a great experience this time we went. Service was great and the food was as well. They forgot something on my daughter’s meal and made it right without issue. You can’t go wrong with the soup, salad, and breadsticks! It does tend to get busy with a wait but it’s worth it. Great experience with the bartender Rachel! Weather outside was nice and cold & what better way to spend a Sunday. My sister & I traveled from Sumter to Florence. Upon arrival Olive Garden had a wait. Naturally we took a seat at the bar. Rachel had a full bar outside of these two seats. Was diligent, attentive, informative & polite. She really showed beyond excellent customer service ! Her ability to keep up and still keep a composure and do it all with a great smile & a welcoming personality! Food came out nice and hot all the way from the soup & bread down to the entree! Hands down my best experience at this location yet! Smh hadn't been to Olive Garden in a while and aft today it'll be another long while... Why Did Yall Change the Calamari?! Taste like fried rubber bands!! Sent it back🤮 Asked for italian seasoning to add some flavor to my bland seafood Alfredo. She brought out $5.99 worth of garlic powder & oregano😂 The fried peppers & shrimp appetizer was good tho. Dinner was very leisurely. However, staffing and timely food availability was an issue. Customer Service was attentive and kind. Food was well prepared and tasty. Facilities were somewhat worn and by far cleaner than many greater Florence restaurants in which we have dined. Recommendable with considerations. We will dine here again in the future. We had a good experience visiting this Olive Garden in Florence during a recent road trip to Florida. Our waitress Sheena was nice and the food came out quickly. We ordered the shrimp fettuccine alfredo, the soup and salad meal and meatballs with spaghetti. All were really good and filling. Would recommend visiting this location when in the area.
