Had Olive Garden on Friday night here in Maple Grove. This is our daughter and her friends favorite place. Alfredo was great. Waitress did a wonderful job. We always get alfredo with broccali and zupa soup for our appetizer. Never fails us. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Olive Garden has been a long-time favorite for Italian cuisines for the "Average Joe." I believe that the food, atmosphere, and price were what drew people in. That being said, on my last visit it fell a bit short. Although our waiter was accommodating, and was trying his best, there were some shortcomings that left a bitter taste. The lack of training and knowledge of the menu was struggling for him. The uninviting host was no exception either. She left us with the feeling that she didn't want to be there, didn't have full knowledge of her job, and was otherwise tuned out and literally just stood there staring down at the table chart until the next patron startled her to lift her head in engagement. In the past, a manager would make it their mission to interact with every table at some point during your meal. This time, there was no such interaction. Additionally, the appeal of the restaurant to offer a semi Classic Italian meal at a reasonable price was no longer. 2 meals, a to-go meal ($6), and 1 beverage set me back $60+ tip. To sum up, this restaurant will not remain on my list of places to patronize as it has lost all of its appealing factors that drew me in for many years prior. This location seemed a little nicer than some Olive Gardens. The layout was nice. The food was fantastic. For some reason it tasted better than at other locations. But our waitress was awful. She didn’t stop by for 10-15 minutes. She wasn’t friendly or informative at all and she was always hiding. Every other table’s server could be seen checking on them multiple times. Ours was no where to be found. She did bring our food eventually, but that was all. No refills on drinks or breadsticks. It’s a great location but pray you don’t get our server (sorry, I can’t remember her name.) Raw breadsticks, tasted like they came off the semi - doughy. Each batch had to be personally cooked by our server. Burnt to a crisp croutons. Whatever is served with the spinach artichoke dip was also burnt to a crisp. The salad was amazing other than the croutons. Server was good. Manager didn’t seem to care. Olive Garden has seriously stepped up to the plate. Their food is hot and amazing. They are consistently busy, and do a great job of managing the wait times. The staff works well as a team as the managers were expediting the entire process and supporting the staff by bringing out food as soon as it was ready. Our waiter, Marco was very attentive and accomodating. Great experience all around. The food was amazing, and the service from Kobe was fabulous! It was one of my best Olive Garden meals. I tried the creamy mushroom sauce. It was so savory and full of mushroom slices. I really enjoyed it. Thank you to Kobe, and to the people who prepared our food. Nicely done! Our waitress was simply A-MAY-zing! Her name is Muggy. It's an unusual name, but she anticipated what we needed before we needed it, every time! She was excellent! We got the lunch special of ziti & fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, and it was the perfect size and cost! About $10.99 plus $4.29 for the shrimp! I treated myself to a raspberry lemonade, and it was soo good! After all this yummy food, and above & beyond service, I realized the waitress was someone I had worked with over 30yrs ago, in another city! So that was fun to talk about! Check out my photos! We came a little before the dinner rush at around 5 pm. We got a table within 5 minutes and got our food fairly quick. As we ate our dinner, more customers walked in. Our food was beyond delicious, and our server was so nice and attentive until it got busy. Overall, it was a great experience. Great food. But when it's busy, expect delays with seating and food. Side note: We order the shrimp fritto misto for appetizer, 6 oz sirloin with a side of alfredo, Chicken & Shrimp Carbonara.
