Damon, Culinary Manager came over multiple times on a busy Friday night to make sure everything was perfect. He always does this. Such personalized attentiveness. Damon, my server, was polite, kind, thoughtful and has the most beautiful smile and warm spirit. I love coming here because they make you feel like family and literally act like they are serving their momma or their favorite auntie and want to make sure it is perfect for you. Great job you all. The food we ordered was nearly inedible. It was way over cooked. And had to wait over an hour. Our server kept forgetting our requests so we didn't get those things. With all the places in KC this would not be one of them. Our server, maybe having a bad day, but over all just not good. And I feel like I'm lenient because I also serve. The manager guy was busting it all over and the other girl that refilled my water 3 times was fantastic. It's the Olive Garden. What do you expect but to have a great experience here! The service was superb and the staff were smiling and helpful. They are genuinely happy which helps to make your dining experience more memorable. It was amazing to see the head chef come out of the kitchen on a Sunday afternoon and make sure everything was meeting the guests expectations. I enjoyed my spaghetti and Italian sausages. The sausages were tasty. Olive Garden's famous garlic bread sticks and salad were wonderful. The Olive Garden is a nice place to go and have a visit with family and friends in a relaxing dining room while eating genuine Italian food. 9.11.23 Josh provided great friendly service. He gave me just as much cheese as I deserve for being a good girl. The bread sticks were kind of hard like maybe left over from yesterday. The bathroom needed to be cleaned. The chicken was over cooked. Update...1.16.2024 We came back. Our noodles were hard from sitting so long before it got to us. The chicken was so hard we could not cut it with a fork. Alfredo sauce had chunks in it. We never even got a refill even though our server was to our table multiple times. I called this location from Tallahassee, FL to place an order for a surprise complete meal for friends in Independence. It ended up being a surprise for them as well; I guess they don't get many calls like that! The young lady fielding my call was amazed that I'd actually do something like that and was very excited, patient and professional in helping me get the rather large order exactly right and that was so appreciated. The entire meal, including desserts, was ready and on time as promised and I was told, "Absolutely perfect and delicious"! Many thanks to all involved with this very special order! I really never miss Olive garden I just like their salad and the bread I ordered spaghetti because it was my birthday and I wanted that but I didn't eat it cuz I have plenty of salad and bread I just go there every five years the Amarillo sour was no real alcohol in these drinks at these restaurants they're charging you but they're not putting any good alcohol in it. Waitresses was nice spaghetti just spaghetti it was my birthday I drove by decided to go after movie Equalizer 3 had a spaghetti moment in the movie. Atmosphere table wet and seats not clean. Nothing more to say I just eat here in another 5 to 7 years if Lord is willing. Came for dinner around 8 o'clock, there was about a 10 min wait but no biggie. It was pretty chilly inside but otherwise it's a pretty standard fair Olive Garden. The food was pretty good. My sibling had two bowls of the gnocchi soup and even took one to go. I dislike the taste and texture of shrimp but love scallops so I asked if it would be possible to have it made without the shrimp, but if not it would be no big deal, I could pick them off and give them to my family. Not only did they cook it without the shrimp they loaded me UP with the little scallops. It was awesome. They could have put on the normal about but went above and beyond.
