Most guests recommend trying tasty fried chicken, salads and fried fish. Order good ice cream and tasty biscuits. Delicious tea is waiting for you at this restaurant. The professional staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. People say that the service is nice here. But Old Time Country Buffet isn't given a high rating on Facebook.

The food taste is below average. Warehouse box food has better taste than this. The waiter provided excellent service. Changed the atmosphere. It has been the same since it opened. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Went through the two small stacks of clean plates to find three that appeared clean. Food is clearly leftovers from lunch at 6:30 - 7pm. $48 for 3 adults with water. It's The dinner rush and the restaurant is largely empty.. There are perhaps 6 or 7 tables occupied including ours. Ole Times Country Buffet used to be our go-to place to eat out. Apparently this declining economy has taken it's toll on Ole Times... We won't be going back. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

The food was very good but not quite Five Stars. Some of the food items were of a commercial mass type of taste or presentation, texture. The vegetables were absolutely the salvation of the entire buffet. The greens were perfect, the cream corn was excellent, the butter beans were good, the salad bar was ok , the meats that were present were pretty good but the fried chicken was greasy and soaked my napkin up pretty bad with grease, acid reflux waiting to happen, turkey wings were not uniform in presentation, some looked like they were allowed to have a nice brown broiled touch on top and some looked like they must have just been boiled and put out to eat however the one I tasted with the broiled look was 😋 Delicious. Sweet potatoes were ah ok not the best but edible and recognizable tasting, the dressing was horrible and dry, the rice and gravy was commercial looking for sure, cabbage was a tad bit too salty, the gizzards were fried and good, some were hard but the chicken livers were excellent, melted in your mouth, Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We stopped by when we left the dentist and it was awful, when we first got there we waited for a few a min as the lady at the register was just looking through her phone I spoke up and asked if we paid first she said yeah she coming. There were no greetings so anyway proceeded to the table where ended up with a not so friendly waitress then the buffet was either empty (most items were too salty to eat..... Maybe next time we can try it again an it be better. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Review from a Florida Panhandle traveler passing through. Food is on-par. Selection of items was awesome, but nothing is labeled so not always sure what getting. Most items seems like every other 'southern' restaurant (e.g. catfish, potatoes, gravy); though a couple items seems genuine home cooking (cornbread). Iced tea was genuine brewed and had amazing southern taste (i.e. lots of sugar). But I disliked that plating was a little confusing in that off to the side and not clearly marked. And they only use Styrofoam cups and plastic forks/spoons, which I find to be a cardnal sin in southern cooking. I personally prefer metal forks/knives and an actual glass for my iced tea, but that's just me. The short lady that greeted me (Shalee) was amazing and charismatic, probably the best part of my visit. But I only saw my waitress one time to fill my Styrofoam cup. She didn't remove any old dishes and litteraly vacuumed under my table while eating. Overall, I'd give this a 3.5, but rounded up because compared to other restaurants in Auburn, this is probably the best place to eat. Also the greeter lady really was exceptionally inviting and earned it. LOTS of seating area, though it was all partitioned off. The food was fair. The salad bar was the best section. The bathrooms were not clean at all which affects how you look at everything else. Plates were located only at one place which made it hard in some sections because you had to walk. Utinsils were at cashier station only and when I asked some workers they were rude in their reply. Maybe just a bad day for them, I don't know. It was a weeknight and not many people in there at that time. I don't know that I will choose to return. Service Dine in Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Very disappointing... didn't seem like they were at all prepared for the higher number of Thanksgiving diners. My 78 yr old mother, and rest of party had to stand in line for approx 30 min just to get to the plates and food stations. Only one line. By the time we finally got to the actual buffet about 2/3 of the bins were empty - nothing but residual food and serving utensils. There was empty containers of Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, NO dressing/stuffing, salad bar completely depleted with nothing but empty bins, no rolls, there was some very questionable looking squash casserole, two big bins that everyone just kept passing by. Dessert station was decimated, mainly cookies and ice cream machine left ... lots of dessert bins empty, no signs with anything anyways to know what any of it had been. Loads of tables were full of piled up dirty dishes and used napkins with food all over the floors. It was $37.00+ for my husband and I and same for my Mother and her companion, I feel like we were basically ripped off. Although we were thankful for having spent this time together, y'all should have done waaaaay better. I really regret that we chose to dine with you for Thanksgiving, we won't make the same mistake twice 😔😕😑 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
