We are diehard fans of Okini Sushi, since they were located on Pleasant Hill Rd. We always get a Chicken Katsu or Teriyaki Dinner Bento & a roll, or a bowl is Chicken Udon soup. I don't think there's any 'bad' order here - I also love their hot green tea (flavored with toasted rice). Service is exceptional; this is one of the local places I'd love to see around for decades. Service okay, but was slow. Orders came out in bad order first person was half done when second order came out. Same for 3rd person. Udon broth was not right, all you could taste was sesame oil. Sashimi presentation was nice, sushi was okay too. Sashimi Delux is 35.95 and does not come with rice, soup or salad. Everywhere else this would come with at least one of those. The worst thing was the soy sauce. We all agreed it was watered down. Who does that? I use low sodium kikoman at home. This was just tasteless. I went here tonight with two friends and I watched the workers walk outside and start smoking cigarettes and they left the door wide open so the whole restraunt could smell the god awful smell.
