Amazing pool hall in Lacey Washington. Get in, get your grub on and play some pool. Staff was excellent and very accommodating. Don't miss out on this amazing bar restaurant experience. This was your average American small town vibe sports bar/restaurant. Lots of TVs. Juke box. Some games including pool tables. It’s called an Irish pub but there’s little if anything very Irish about it. The food is overpriced for what you get: I had a giant plate of nachos, but the cheese was hardened already by the time it hit my table, so most of the chips were congealed together. Plenty of toppings but despite this, there was still a plate full of chips left on the plate after everything else was eaten. I have a word of advice for every restaurant in the world that serves nachos: serve. Less. Chips. No one eats what’s left over; you’ll save money. My wife and I went here for a late night bite to eat (after 9 p.m.) for our first time visiting this restaurant/bar. The dining room was closed, so there was seating only in the bar. This was fine as we didn't have our kids with us at the time, but nowhere does it have posted that the dining room was closed for service. We took a seat at a table in the bar and were promptly greeted by a server that was friendly and helpful. She took our drink order and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. We placed our order for the Bartenders' Philly and the French Dip. The food was served in under 15 minutes. We both enjoyed our sandwiches and fries. I wish they had more music playing. It is my only request as the nearly an hour of being there they played 4 songs. But in fairness, I am not sure if this was due to customer request (jukebox style) or if they just had something else going on. They had 3 pool tables for those who wanted to play. There are many things on their menu that I would like to try, so this will be a new spot for the wife, and I will be visiting more. The next thing to try is there, Mick Fish. This place is ALWAYS packed! I have never eaten here but I did watch my friends' band play outdoors. The service is slow but it's because they are non-stop busy. I would recommend that they put more people on the floor and in the kitchen to help speed things up. The food must be amazing and a lot of people enjoy the place. This is our go-to for a great meal experience. Any chance we get, this is where we always go for lunch or dinner, yet to try their breakfast if they offer it. We have been in the area a few years now and always love coming here as the staff, food, and atmosphere are the most perfect we have experienced since being on the west coast. It's certainly a great pick with bar and table dining. Highly recommended, and our servers are the best servers we have had the pleasure to be waited by.
