I ordered a king cake for Mardi Gras.... let me say after living in NOLA for several years it felt great to be able to find this special gem in my hometown. It tasted just like New Orleans. Absolutely moist and very sweet... loved it. And will be ordering again.... Oh and recently got a taste of their cookie cake... hands down the best thing ever! Service Delivery Food: 5 Service: 5

This is my second year buying care packages for my Loyola student. Elisa's desserts are amazing, and a loved surprise by my daughter. I can never get a complete pic of the treats, because she and her roommate dig right in! A wonderful, local Chicago small business!! This cake was excellent. The owner was so gracious. She helped me out of a serious bind. And when tell you she delivered...she did. The cake was beautiful and very tasty.

Elisa's King Cake was 🔥🔥🔥. Perfect amount of icing, beautifully decorated, cinnamon-y and delicious. I ordered for a Mardi Gras party on Saturday night and just enjoyed the last slice as my Mardi Gras breakfast. Will absolutely order again.

Elisa made my wedding cake and groom's cake and wedding cookies. Normally you don't go to weddings for the cake, but let me tell you, there were fights for seconds. She listened to what I was asking for, communicated with me about my expectations, and delivered the most beautiful, delicious sweets. I also ordered a birthday cake from her, and it surpassed all expectations. If you need someone to bake you something stunning in looks and taste, she's your baker!!!

I ordered a cake for my 40th birthday party. Elisa’s Cake by the #Pound sent me a pic of example of what I described. She was on point! My cake was BEAUTIFUL! Not only was it beautiful, it was DELISH! The whole process was simple for a custom order. She even let me kiddos sample her cookies that she made!
