Wow!! Such a great experience! The food was good but the service we received was even better. I ordered a gyro skillet with biscuits and gravy. The skillet was okay but the homemade biscuits were the highlight this morning. Service was great! And this is a cool place to visit. They offer great breakfast options and I have eaten here several times in the past few years. This place was great! We found it on our way through the area. We tried calling but they were busy. I placed an order for breakfast for two and asked how long they thought it would take so I could run an errand, and they told me about 8 minutes! We got back and the lady in the front saw me and met me on my way in with my order. My Greek omelette was delicious. My partner had the sampler platter and she also enjoyed it. If your wanting a great mom and pop old school dinner then this is the place. Awesome food and awesome service. The chicken fried steak and eggs breakfast is great and they were always making sure my coffee cup never ran dry. Good price too. I can’t say enough good things about this quaint diner! The coffee was delicious, syrup warm and the butter wasn’t cold. I didn’t have to ask for anything. The service was quick, tables were cleaned off timely, waitresses friendly and peppy. Acted like they were happy to be there and working. Food was scrumptious and it was a warm and inviting atmosphere. I’d go every Saturday morning if I lived in Joplin! The hashbrowns were a little on the harder side. I asked for my eggs scrambled with cheese, which was extra. I didn't eat the eggs. They weren't good at all. The cheese was only on half the eggs. I was still charged for the cheese, which I didn't really care for. Other than that, it was okay! I took my friend to breakfast here. She said hers was delicious. Wow. What a place! Excellent waitress service all around. Good time on food turn around. Food is great and plenty of it. Restrooms are extremely well kept. I honestly can’t say anything bad about this place. I’m extremely pleased. Thanks y’all for everything! If I ever pass through Missouri again I’ll make sure to add this stop to the list. I'm from out of town, and my fiance who is from here brought me here for breakfast. The food was far better than expected for the price point. But what made me want to leave a review was the phenomenal service. I did not catch her name, but it's close to Halloween our server had a pig costume on. I hope she sees this and knows that she made our humble breakfast a memorable experience. We will return! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
