Having seen Museum of the Apopkans, it's time to have a rest at this restaurant. Visitors highlight that they like the menu of Chinese cuisine at No 1 Chinese. Based on the guests' opinions, waiters serve good sweet & sour chicken, prawns and egg rolls here. Food delivery is a big plus of this place. Picked up carry out for my son and I tonight. Kitchen was behind as they ran out of sauce. No big deal, we patiently waited and watched them make the sauces from scratch. Waited one hour after ordering before i got my food. Someone was mixing Sauce on the floor in a bucket within site of the counter. Food is left sitting out on shelves and on the top of fryer machines before being cooked. Very disorganized, kept saying only one more minute, Not. To bad after all my waiting the food was inedible. I have lived in Apopka for many years and this is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant! I have never had a bad meal here and the service is always fast and friendly. I wish they still delivered. Keep in mind, they are closed on Mondays, which always seems to be the day I have a really bad craving for their food! Edit: 2/2024. They are now under new management and offer more than just Chinese food. They also have fried chicken, fish, red beans and rice, mashed potatoes, and more. Not sure how any of that is because I just get Chinese food. Their food is slightly different from the previous owners, but not in a bad way. The restaurant is cleaner and has been redesigned with a nicer counter and the huge monitors displaying the menu.
