If you are looking for a local pub/bar, look no further! This place has had consistently great bar food for as long as I have been going there. I have been a patron of Nick's for 25 years.
Joe and Nicole are the best! You will usually find Nicole behind the bar Wed.-Sat. , during the day! She is attentive, caring, and just an all-around great bartender. Not to take away from the other bartenders, Tim, Chris, and John.... also great!!
They also have a large section in the back with tables and chairs, so bring the whole family along!! They will also do larger parties, talk to Nicole for details!!
This is also a great place to watch the Eagles games or any of your other favorite Philly teams.
I think the best burger in town and the cheesesteak tacos are to die for!! Ask them to add chopped pickles to the tacos and tell him Donna sent you!!

Wanted to love this place. Let me start by saying the people are friendly and welcoming. The roast beef was good, large portions ( the au jus was good )but was ok in taste. To be fair I’m from Brooklyn and we have some outstanding Roast beef restaurants. We had two roast beef sandwiches, onion rings and ordered stuffed peppers, which the very friendly man said they were delicious and then forgot to serve us. The atmosphere is cozy for a small hole in the wall bar. Which we seen on tv and drove the distance. Should we go again probably not. If your in the neighborhood then give it a shot.

Super cute and charming little bar with amazing food! My sister and I stopped in here for an early dinner while in the area and we were glad we did. Our server was so nice and attentive even though she was the only one serving tables and the people behind the bar. We also had a handful of other staff members ask how everything was while walking by. The food was delicious! We really enjoyed the fried pickles and the hand cuts fries; a must have! If we’re ever in the area again we will definitely be back 😊

Was looking for a burger and was not disappointed by Nick’s!! Our waiter, Chris, recommended the Pub, it had smoked Gouda, pickled red onion and a house sauce. It was 🔥. My dad had the breakfast burger and loved his. They were both made perfectly. We split an order of fries and it was more than enough for the both of us. Very chill atmosphere, tables in the back of the restaurant and smaller tables up front by the bar. Very homey and great staff, very friendly. Highly recommend for a drink or bite to eat.
I'm not even from Philly, and this place is excellent. Solid sports bar, the management gave me a coupon from a pub crawl to come back, and the second I came back, he fist bumped me and looked after me. Cheap buckets and decent food make this a must go place.

On a gameday, service can be a little slow, but if you aren’t in a rush it’s not a big deal. Highly recommend the burger as it was super flavorful and tasty. It will surprise you how good it is! Also tried the roast beef sandwich and it was also good. Only thing I don’t recommend getting were the fries or waffle fries, all three orders our table got were fried so much that they were hard and quite crunchy. Pretty big place for seating or bar as well.

This place is a hidden gem. What makes this local bar special is they have an amazing chef.( Ian Goripow) His food is better than any home cooking in the city. No atmosphere but excellent comfort food at an amazing low price. My husband had the roast beef sandwich that can not be beat anywhere.I had the chicken and mashed potatoes and spinach and mushroom platter. The gravy was as good as it gets. Perfect home cooked meal. ( I can not cook it nearly as good ). My friend had the beef stew and said it was outstanding. This chef is going places!

It's a total hole in the wall, and perfect for it. Super friendly service. Nice beer selection. But, the real reason to go there is the food. You know it's good when you let out an audible moan of pleasure with each bite. I had the french dip, and took a bit of my husband's original. Both amazing! Onion rings a little less crispy than I prefer, but still delish (and automatically come with an aioli 😁 instead of ketchup 🙄.) Went for lunch on a Friday - not busy and quick service. Highly recommend stopping in.

Owners really know what they're doing. Food and atmosphere are unmatched. I saw Jason Kelce in there once, so you know this place is legit. Stop by, one of the best places in the city
