Was able to get a reservation last minute and although we unfortunately missed the breakfast slot, the meal we had was surprisingly good. Prime dip was amazing along with the fried chicken. Butter cake was also tasty. We were really pleased with all the flavors and tastes. Definitely a great spot. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We have been to Nick’s numerous times over 10 years. We have never been disappointed. Starting with the service staff (who are obviously trained well), to the good and overall experience. Our meals always start with asparagus fries. This visit I had the SF cioppino my wife had shrimp taquitos. Both were fantastic. The taquitos were very unique. Never seen that before. Let me start by saying that our waitress, Diana, was WONDERFUL! And the food…. WOW!! Everything we ate was incredible. Everything we drank was incredible. One of the best meals we’ve ever had. But most importantly the dessert… when I tell you the butter cake was the best dessert I’ve ever eaten, I don’t say it lightly.. Nick’s Laguna Beach is sensational! Wow oh wow! Our server (John) has worked there since 2015 and had fantastic recommendations as we perused the menu. We ordered shrimp taquitos and deep fried deviled eggs as appetizers. The shrimp taquitos were insanely delicious!!! All the food we ordered was fantastic. So glad I was given the recommendation to eat here.

I had the almond crusted Halibut and it was absolutely epic as was the mashed potatoes! Additionally the ice tea is among the best I had ever!! Dominic was our server and he is very attentive to detail and phenomenal at serving!
