Such a lovely place! They have a wide variety of board game selections, but the best part is the friendly staff!! They take their time and help you pick a board game based on your likes/dislikes, and also patiently explain how to play it if you ask :) The pricing is also very reasonable ($7), which is what has enabled us to come here several times - hoping it stays the same! Very lovely atmosphere all-in-all, and highly recommend this place for a fun evening 😊

I have been twice already, and my group and I had a great experience both times. This place is a must-visit for anyone who likes board games. There is a large variety of games for both the casual gamer and the board game enthusiast. If you ever have wanted to try out a board game before buying it this is the perfect way to do so. One thing unique about this store is the owners will go out of their way to introduce you to games you may find interesting, and as an added bonus, they will help teach you how to play which saves so much time and allows you to try even more games! Their collection of games is always growing, and I appreciate how let's plays and meet ups are scheduled on their calendar in order to help build community. I look forward to the realization of the cafe concept in the future!

Next Level Board Game Cafe is an awesome addition to Downtown Mountain View. Sean and Rebecca were kind, helpful, and thoughtful in providing the best experience possible. We got there when it opened, and got to play 4 different board games at our table before we had to leave for other plans. They have a great selection of board games. They have snacks and drinks to purchase. They add your entrance fee of $7 per person, snacks and/or drinks to your tab, and then you pay for it all before you leave. The interior with decorations and murals are beautiful and contribute to a relaxing and comfortable environment. We hope to go back again, and highly recommend this place to all board game lovers!
