This is by far the best Health Food store/market that I have found in Florida!! The best supplement selection, best produce , herbs, bulk products etc. The employees are all so helpful!!
Nature's Food patch has pretty much everything you want if you're trying to eat healthy, but also a deli and many different spices and vitamins, kombucha, cold coffee and much more. Some things a bit pricey...
This is a great place to find gluten free products and bulk spices, whole grains and other bulk products. There is a nice selection of organic produce, canned, boxed and refrigerated items. You'll also find a large selection of supplements with knowledgeable people to help.
LOL what can I say...it's Natures! EXCELLENT food choices in the deli with lots of ready-to-take-home yummies plus fresh, FRESH, REALLY FRESH meats and veggies and tons more yummies on the shelves ... it's always fun finding new things too. Lots of helpful staff sprinkled throughout the store.
Much to my surprise, but also to my enjoyment, the particular manager that I mentioned below in this initial critique, came to me tonight and apologized. He was just as considerate and nice as I would expect from any employee of this store. He communicated that it was a misunderstanding, and I agreed with him. It was maybe a tough night for both of us. We shook hands. We laughed, and I believe this made us closer. I'm changing my one star review to five stars because in the spirit of good brotherhood, this is exactly the way disputes should be handled. I am leaving my critique up as a reference so that someone can read what my initial issue was, which makes this "amends" even that much more impressive .
This is my go to grocery store/cafe and this place basically keeps me alive. I’ve been a regular here for over 10 years.
Some of the employees I know so very well, we’re on first name basis, and a few of them I give a handshake or a hug because they are just outstanding people and they have become like family.
That being said a couple of weeks ago, I was in the café and a gentleman who I will leave unnamed who claims to be one of the managers comes in and gives me a bit of a hassle for being in the café after 8 o’clock. Not wanting to complain I had my significant other and myself pack up even though we weren’t done eating. On the way out, I mentioned to one of the other managers that there was no sign to tell us what time the café closed. Advertently the sign was turned around and you could only see the sign from when you exited! Lol
He said I had a good point, and they should make the sign say the same thing on both sides.
And that it was no big deal and we both thought nothing of it.
Tonight tonight though was a different story. Mind you I spend thousands of dollars in this place. I’m only one of thousands of customers but believe me each customer who spends thousands of dollars helps keep this place in business. That being said that same manager tonight sticks his head around the corner a few minutes after eight (now knowing I have to be out by eight I was scarfing down my last few bites.) and he gets my attention and taps on his watch . That gesture alone really upset me. This is SO not good customer service customer relations by any means. I have been in customer service all my life and I would’ve never done that, too especially a regular customer. When I approached him about it, he said he didn’t care that the rules were rules, and that I needed to abide by the rules. I told him I agreed with that, however, his bedside manner had something to be worked on. He got quite upset which made me even more upset. He made me feel like he didn’t care about my patronage, and that he kept saying that he was the manager and he didn’t care. Then I asked him if he knew who I was (inferring to me being a very regular customer) because he didn’t seem to treat me like a regular customer who comes in three times or four times week and spends hundreds if not, thousands of dollars on a regular basis. He had no regard for what he was saying, or the way he was saying it, and I initially asked to speak to him privately, but he insisted on speaking in front of the other employees who were all witnesses to this craziness.
A better way to approach me would have been to say: “Sir just a reminder we close the café area at 8 o’clock. Are you almost done? I have to send the cleaning crew in here and we don’t want to do that while you’re still eating .“
He did communicate something to that effect, but it was only after he tapped his watch.
I want to leave the worst review I can possibly leave so he can see that many other people would feel the same way I did.
The only way even management will make a change is if we chime in and give input.
As I said, this is my go to store and I love the people and I love the products but this particular manager either needs to go or he needs to get a class in ethics and customer care.
