We have eaten at MP2 many times, but this was our best experience ever. We ordered the Grecian pizza. Cooked to perfection. My wife and I do like our pizza cooked a little crispy and was spot on delicious. The service was pleasant and professional. We sat near the fire. What more can you ask for in a local pizza place? Whenever we used to visit Mystic, my family and I used to visit this place years ago when my kids were little and loved it. I just took my adult kids and I friend for lunch as we were passing through the area, and I was embarrassed because our food was so bad, after i talked this place up. We ordered 2 pizzas and both were undercooked and doughy inside. The calamari wasnt the best either. The sauce on the pizza had an overly sweet taste. The entire car ride home, I had to listen to my friend and kids complain and comment about how much they didn't like the food. I don't know if it was a fluke or what, but this was definitely not the pizza I remembered. If we hadn't been running late, I would've complained. Service Dine in Price per person $50–100

Came here with my husband and kids after a so-so trip to the aquarium (RIP OFF!) At first we were sat at a table and realized it wouldn’t be a comfortable dining experience where we were - but they didn’t even flinch when we asked to be moved to a booth. The food was so fresh. Everything tasted really clean and while we wish the pizza hung out in the oven a few minutes longer - the flavor was AMAZING. Our server was on it. Came with the food with the extra napkins, condiments and was quick with drink refills. You can tell the staff enjoy their work environment as it shows through their service. We will be back! We had been to Mystic Pizza in downtown Mystic but never to Mystic Pizza II. It was near the campground we were staying at and decided to get some dinner. This place was as busy as a stump-tailed bull in fly season. The parking lot was especially entertaining as it appears the curbs were just a suggestion to most. My honest opinion of the food was that it was good. I don't think it was the best or the worst but it was definitely enjoyed by my family. We also ordered a Italian Grinder which was actually made like a real grinder (kudos) but lacked flavor. I would ask for more Italian seasoning next time. The cheese sticks were our least favorite because they were a bit greasy and lacked flavor as well. Mystic Pizza is more of a nostalgic thing for my husband and I and not a food destination but more than likely will be back in the future. I've been wanting to visit the second location of Mystic Pizza for many years now and finally got around to it yesterday! I have to say I much prefer this location simply because it has a good sized parking lot so parking isn't a struggle and the interior is roomy and spacious. The service was lovely and it was very nice and laid back when we went on Monday for lunch. We ordered a standard pepperoni pizza with half jalapeno and half sausage and it was absolutely delicious. The original Mystic Pizza was always my favorite pizza because I'm obsessed with pan pizza. This location is no different. The crust is crispy and delicious and it's cooked well, with good color on the cheese and toppings. The pepperoni is freaking amazing, I could eat a bag of just the toasted pepperoni. Everything was perfect and just how I hoped it would be. When I'm craving pizza I'll definitely be back to this location and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good pan pizza. And though I didn't try it, they did also have a thin crust option and other Italian fare for those who may not be as into pan pizza as I am. This place has amazing food ! Their pizza is the best in town. They use high quality ingredients. Tonight we ordered their sampler appetizers, a bacon cheese burger and their house pizza. Everything was delicious. Very generous portion sizes. Wait staff was very pleasant. The place was spacious and well kept. Very clean. I would recommend this place over the original Mystic pizza. Had a nice dinner here. Split the Mystic calzone which was huge and absolutely stuffed with meat, cheese, and ricotta. Sauce is delicious. We shared a plate of buffalo chicken wings. Husband said its the best wings he's had in Connecticut. Cocktails were good too!
