A Nice fine dining experience with large helpings that tends to be packed during the weekends. Easy to pass up on the strip in downtown Jamestown, PA, this is a spot you wouldn't want to miss on any special occasion. Be prepared to spend a few bills because the food can be quite expensive. The bar is tight, but has a wide selection of local beers and fine wines. The dining area is much more spacious and has a more romantic feel with the lighting, table settings and large booths. Overall, I would consider it one of the higher rated places to eat in Mercer county. This is probably one of the best Italian restaurants iv ever been to. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was great. Oh my word. All I have to say is GO! I had the wedding soup which was amazing. I got the mushroom pasta on their lunch menu, and all I can say is it is absolutely delicious. Pasta is cooked to perfection al dente. The flavor is just amazing. I love the bread for dipping in oil too. I’m sad I live an hour away. We have been loyal patrons for several years, and have dined there 2-4 times a month over that time. We were always thrilled with the food and service until last evening. We found the menu had been changed and the choices have been significantly limited. Hoping to have one of my favorites, I asked the waitress for a modification. She returned and said it was not possible. Shortly after that disappointing response, one of the owners came by. I asked for the modification, and was told there could be no exceptions made, clearly dismissing me, a regular patron who has spent thousands of dollars for what was a very pleasant culinary experience. We love this place, went here for my hubby's birthday, and as usual we were not disappointed. The food was wonderful, the cocktails were well made, and the calamari appetizer was perfection. We had probably a 40-minute wait from arrival to being seated, but once we had a table, service happened quickly. Our waitress had another grab our drink order since she was busy at the moment, but everything came out at very reasonable times. Elizabeth was incredible, attentive service while also allowing us to have space while we dined. Do wish we were given crayons for our paper table cover (though I’m sure we would have been given drawing implements had we asked). The prices were very reasonable for the portions, including drinks.
