This was my first visit, but my husband has been twice before and raved about the food. It was easy to make same day reservations through the website and we received a text when our seats were available. We were greeted by the host and sat quickly. The server Drew was polite. The mussels appetitzer I wanted was already sold out. I ordered the fig burger and it was good, but unfortunately the fries arrived room temperature. They were limp and edible-- had it not taken so long for the food to arrive I would've sent them back to be remade. I would give the food a second try.. but I would absolutely insist on being seated on the first floor. Seems like there may a disconnect with the food service. The food runner with the bandana and afro rolled her eyes and sighed heavily both times she walked away from delivering food to a party of 11 that was also seated upstairs. Service and vibe were great but the food was very disappointing. The burger was precooked and cold, as was the brisket sandwich, the “kettle chips” were Jay’s 🤣 and for $18! The rest of the food (chicken egg rolls, and shrimp grits) were mid at best. The drinks were decent, but I suggest you stay away from the food.
