This is a great restaurant for any occasion. The atmosphere is very nice, offering booth or table seating, with background music that isn't too loud or overwhelming. The service is excellent with good explanations of the ingredients in each dish and attention to our table when we ran low on chips and drinks. The wait time for our meals was not extensive at all. We were served in a timely manner and each of our four plates was beautiful when brought to the table. The food was also excellent, lots of flavor, served hot, and upon serving us, the waiter made sure we were satisfied with what we received at that moment and came back a few minutes later to make sure everything was to our liking. Monterrey Mexican Grill is a great place for family or an intimate dining experience for that special date. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Well I wish I would've took pics of the food. I made a take out order which cost 50+ bucks. I ordered the street tacos al pastor among some other stuff. The tacos could not have been any more drier and no flavor. They tasted old. Ordered some nachos to, same thing dry as hell and the meat had no flavor. The grilled jalapeños was good and the fajitas were good but that's it. You want to support local but when you spend 50+ on food that you didn't even want to eat because of the condition. The atmosphere was great, the service was awesome, the restaurant is surprisingly huge on the inside. Unfortunately the food was just average. I myself make chimichanga and it's my favorite Mexican entrée, I ordered that for my entrée and it looked like a fried enchilada. It was very disappointing. I felt as though I was served the wrong dish. I was very impressed with their cocktail menu. WOW! Happy Hour would be lit! I would return for the cocktails. IF i could give more than 5 stars I would have. Let me tell you how rare it is for me not to have any negative outputs for a place. I loved my experience here. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Literally no waiting. Drink order was taken immediately and brought out less than 2 minutes later with their basket of chips and salsa. Less than 8 minutes later, our order was taken. It was maybe 10 minutes for our food to be served. It was hot, correct, and so damn good. Our server was amazing and very polite. He wasted no time on small talk, which we LOVED! The place was so clean. Bathrooms clean and in working proper order. Toilet paper, soap, and paper towels all stocked. Fantastic place.
