My family came to south Boston for a funeral but it also happened to be 3 birthdays in the family that same weekend. I overheard another guest in the hotel talking about what a gem this restaurant was. I was able to make a reservation for the same night. They did not disappoint. The food was amazing, the staff was super patient with our large group and they were able to accommodate us in a private room. I will definitely return. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The wait staff gave us great service. I was disappointed with the food last night. Potatoes Au Gratin had been baked in a casserole dish earlier in the day. They cut "squares" out for the portions. They were dry and barely warm. My filet mignon was supposed to be rare; it was purple inside. Our table was in the flow of traffic, and there were wait staff holding trays of food over my head. My chair kept getting bumped into.
