This place was amazing! We went at Christmas time and the atmosphere of the restaurant was gorgeous. The waitstaff look like models, have awesome accents and deliver the best service. The food was delicious and authentic. Fair prices too. Can't say enough good things about this place. Great local Italian place with good food, nice atmosphere, and attentive service (and reasonable prices!). My wife and I had dinner there at 6:30 on a Friday night and was busy but no waiting for a booth. We had stuffed mushrooms and garlic bread for an appetizer (not realizing they had complimentary garlic rolls). Wish there were more mushrooms with the appetizer but they were very tasty, and the garlic bread was plenty (essentially a baguette sliced in half and toasted). Entrees were big (we each only ate half). My wife had the Mio Sampler and I had the Spaghetti Marinara with sausage. Both very good. Our waitress forgot to bring out a house salad. When we asked if they could make it to go, our waitress readily comped it (over my mild protest). We really like this place. Especially nice now that they have a liquor license. So nice having a red wine with marinara. Happy to see this place in Edmond. Such a great experience. The food was absolutely authentic and delicious. We had the mio trio & veal Marsala and calamari appetizer and don’t forget to try the complementary bread , it melts in your mouth. They take such pride in their food, service, and atmosphere! Everything was amazing! The atmosphere was so inviting and joyous . The service was the best service I’ve ever received from any restaurant. They treat you like you are family visiting their home . I have already been back for a to go order and it was just as impressive as eating there . This is a must visit and keep in your rotation of places to eat in Edmond! I told the owner I’m not a fancy guy I just like to eat good food. I told him make me anything or if you have lamb I love it he made me lamb chops. I told him give him some cheese and olive oil and bread and he made it for me. I felt like I was eating home. I love it, it was delicious and everybody was cool they treat me Like a family. I had the chicken parm cremora. It was alright. The Alfredo sauce was watery and didn’t have a cheese taste. It was very buttery and oily. Doesn’t taste as good as it looks. I took it home just because I didn’t want to feel like I was wasting food. I heated it up and you can just see all the oil. The atmosphere was nice though. We loved our first visit here. The staff was friendly and attentive. No long waits. The atmosphere is modern and very clean. No liquor but they have a good wine and beer menu. You get fresh hot rolls right after being seated. The stuffed mushrooms in lobster sauce was amazing! The margharita pizza was delicious. We got a trio with lasagne, chicken parmesan and fettuccine Alfredo. I've never had sweet lasagne so be prepared for that. Not my thing but my husband loved it. The chicken parmesan was great. The fettuccine was cooked properly but the sauce wS no good. Happy I didn't get a whole plate of it. I didn't take away a star for it because the rest of the visit was stellar. Im a trained cook and Italian. I would Sautee some garlic and add that, salt, pepper and shave some good parmesan. Thank you for the great time Mio’s! The staff is really friendly and caring. I was impressed on how quick everything was handled although it was peak time! The food is amazing and fresh. I’ll definitely go again soon for lunch or dinner and would recommend everyone to go and try the food and the service there! Wonderful Italian restaurant! Was passing by Edmond on our way back to Texas. This is definitely the place to eat if you want to enjoy great authentic Italian cuisine. Portions are great, atmosphere is mordern yet it feels like you were invited to a family diner. Fried Calamari(appetizer) is so well cooked. Bread is steaming hot and so soft. Every dish my family and I had were great. The owners are phenomenal! Wishing the best for this jewel that Edmond has. Oh, and don't forget to order your pizza! Excellent food. Decent value for good food. We had good service as well from Ardit. The rolls were light and buttery. The place was full but no wait. The food came in good time promptly. I had the pasta sampler all were good. Wife had the lasagna it was excellent. I liked the atmosphere and the full bar is well stocked. Nice wine list.
