The tagliatelle al ragù are the best you can find around the NorthShore. The rest is ok, for instance why adding rugola and balsamic to a Margherita pizza? Or tons of capers tomato and other stuff with the Branzino? Keep it simple like the tagliatelle. Service Dine in Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Had the nightly special entree. The pasta was so salty I couldnt eat it & ask them to please replace it. The second plate was also too salty, tho a little less than before, but still terrible. At that point my wife was finished eating & I was starving so I just ate it, followed by several glasses of water. Tho their regular menu items may be ok, I dont think the kitchen is good enough or agile enough to do anything that they dont do over & over again. Lotsa choices in the area for Italian. If you want an amazing steak, this is the place! Steak at an Italian restaurant you ask? Yes. They have a dry aged tomahawk steak this is to die for. Mind you it is expensive, but so worth it. It’s huge and when we go as a couple we get it plus a few sides. It is also great for a larger group because then you have room to enjoy their pastas and desert. People usually think you go to a steakhouse to get a great steak. But I have found that many Italian and French restaurants offer these larger prime cuts and they are usually outstanding. Lovely restaurant with incredible customer service. They understand family. We were greeted at the hostess stand promptly . The waitress was cute, friendly, attentive and accommodated all our requests. The cocktails were delicious with a good presentation. I thought the tequila based cocktails were very refreshing. We shared a variety of appetizers, our favorites being the meatball dish and the shrimp + calamari platter. I ordered the branzino for dinner and my wife ordered the salmon. Both dishes were well-plated and very delicious. I thought the portions were on the smaller side others disagreed. ( Our friend ordered the pasta special which he said was "incredible" and the portion size was ample.) Our dessert cocktails were an espresso martini (loved it!), limoncello and our friend ordered pistachio gelato. He highly recommends it. We were warmly sent off by a lovely gentleman, who I can only assume was the owner/partner. It was a nice touch to end the night. I can and will recommend this restaurant.
