Tried this place for the first time and was pretty impressed! Very nice atmosphere. Almost felt like I was on vacation in another country. Probably the best eggs Benedict I've had in a while. Coffee is really good. I had a latte and husband had cappuccino. Good kombucha. Kids menu was very nice and actually tasty. We tried buttered noodles, a pancake and cheese flatbread. Very reasonable prices and great service! I honestly don't have any negatives about this place which is hard to find now days. We will def be back!! I have eaten at this place for years. I still have not found a place in the Twin Cities that exceeds the quality of their menu in terms of health, portions, price, and ingredients. If you want to experience warm ambience and delicious food without worrying about your waistline, stop in. You won’t be disappointed. I love their menu, and I have higher standards than most. Beautiful location. Very nice and more elegant restaurant. Ample and secluded atmosphere. It feels like you have exclusive seating at every table. There is also a private meeting/party room that could seat 10 to 12 comfortably. Plenty of appetizers to choose from. Unfortunately we were shooting a commercial on my visit so I didn't get to try a full meal. The appetizers were ok. The outdoor patio is one of the best in the area. WOW! I am so impressed by the quality of food at Mill Valley Kitchen! I had happy hour and everything was extremely delicious and good quality! We tried mushroom flatbread, wings and green curry mussels. I highly recommend this place. This was my 3rd trip to MVK and all have been great experiences. Food, service...and atmosphere. It was a "holiday busy" vibe given mid-December, but without the sheer volume of noise level that some restaurants have. We were in the adjacent semi-private room for a small event with about 10 people and it was great. We ordered off the regular dinner menu & the grilled pork tenderloin w/sweet potato was amazing! Madison is the best server i’ve ever had! Came in after a rough day for an appetizer and wine and I feel like she could immediately sense my mood. After she answered all my questions about the menu and asked how I was my mood immediately changed. She was so knowledgeable and her kind demeanor uplifted my spirit. This restaurant also had very cozy vibes and the rest of the staff was also very friendly. I had the spring rolls and mussels on the Happy Hour Menu and they were amazing and affordable. Great place for brunch. Bottomless mimosas and other cocktails. Brunch menu is diverse and lots to choose from. Go for the French toast, it was melt in your mouth good. Service was wonderful. Great experience! Came here for the first time yesterday and my experience was amazing. Although it appeared they were very short staff, the entire staff was helpful and extremely friendly. For appetizers, I ordered the mango spring rolls which were pretty good. For the main course I ordered the salmon burger and fingerling potatoes. The salmon burger was amazing! It was soooo delicious! For drinks, we ordered a few of the cocktails and they were all pretty delicious and unique flavors. Overall the experience was very good and I love how they have outdoor seating, it does seem the seating is in a shaded area though. Lastly, one unique thing is on their menu all of their food items has the calories, carbohydrates, protein and fiber listed for each item. I think that’s super unique and amazing for those who are interested in what their consuming. Plus based off their website all their food is fresh and locally sourced. My husband and I have travel quite a bit and are definite foodies. This place is stellar! Staff from hostess stand to bartenders then table waiter were attentive, well informed and quick on their feet. The tomato soup and later the braised beef short rib are the best I have ever had. My husband loved the duck! We had to try the desserts because the meal had been so excellent and were thrilled with the flour less chocolate torte with house made strawberry rhubarb ginger sorbet. 10/10 says this picky eater.
