I ordered takeout which include 2 tacos, 1 burito, chip and salsa. They forgot my salsa! And the limes for tacos. Anyone order takeout here should double check. The food was good tho

Such a cheerful restaurant. Delicious, authentic food with wonderful service. Truly a gem! Update: just had the most incredible lunch. The burritos were the table favorite but the tacos and nachos were spectacular! As always, the service was warm, friendly and attentive. Mexico City Tacqueria is fast becoming our favorite! I work nearby and have picked up takeout off and on, since I love tamales! I felt I had to make a review (I don't post reviews ever) after my experience taking my friend out for her birthday -- the customer service was amazing, and I truly appreciate how special it made my friend's night. The food tastes homemade and fresh and wonderfully spiced, you can tell nothing comes frozen or canned, and the salsas and sauces and moles are all delicious! My friend's margarita was gigantic, the decorations in the seating area are bright and fun, and we were just treated so kindly near the end of the night on a quiet weekday when we were the only folks not doing takeout. I feel hesitant to mention that I wish I'd had a little more rice and beans with my entree, because it feels like more comes with the takeout option, but I admit I could barely finish my entire dinner when it comes down to it. I will keep coming back -- thanks for treating us like family! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nicely decorated restaurant and decent service. Food quality was very disappointing... from the chips and salsa to the main courses, the flavors were off; got a side of "queso" that was just a bowl of Velveeta like product. The Al Pastor burrito bowl was really bad, both in presentation and flavor. The chicken tacos ware tasteless and dry. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for good quality Mexican food.

Very good food. My friends and I love burrito plate and tacos here so much. Desserts are nice too, especially flan (we just focused on eating and forgot to take a picture 😅) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

The restaurant’s decoration is very good. I love it very much, but the food is just ok. I bought Togo, they gave me many sauces, that’s good. But I won’t go visit every month, maybe once a year.

This used to be a 5-star review because Mexico City used to be a 5-star place. Unfortunately the service and the order accuracy has gone so far downhill recently that it's basically underground. It's not just that they're understaffed, like everyone else - I get that. But the staff they do have is rude and dismissive. 9/10 times your takeout order won't be right. The most recent (and LAST) time we went, we ordered 2 of an item. They gave us one and charged us for both and just said they ran out. The food is still good, when it's right, but we won't be back when we're treated the way that we are there. (Note that my husband has been going since it was a takeout spot ONLY. He is very disappointed but will not return after our experiences this past year). Old review: The best Mexican food I've had. We love it here!

Food was very good and super fresh! Attentive and very friendly staff. Very reasonably priced. Interesting decorations with a funky vibe. Would go again, not much in this area for restaurants and this would be a good choice for the area. The burrito bowl is not huge but very good and can't beat the price for the amount and quality.
