The fried ice cream is delicious. But I dont know about the food. I ordered a chicken burrito and when it was served to me the chicken was ice cold in the middle. Told the waitress who didn't say a word just took the plate from me. Which was okay I wasn't going to eat it. Manager came over and said something about the chicken is never stored cold, which is even more confusing because it was ice cold. They did comp the burrito which is appreciated noting I took one bite, and gave me the fried ice cream for free. I appreciate that but would of rather been able to eat lunch. First time dining and I would definitely come back. We had Beef Chimichanga (which was big!) and the Cajun Hash. Both were great and flavorful. I am happy with my decision to stop in! -Warm and cozy atmosphere, -Our waitress Samantha was great! Good place to hang out with friends. Bar was hopping and very busy on a Monday night. I was there with a group for drinks and appetizers. I wanted to order tortillas to go from a waiter who was already at a kiosk putting in an order. I was told I would have to ask the bartender. The one bartender was overwhelmed so I didn't even try. OMG! Food was amazing. At first we did have to wait for server but not too long. Sorry, forgot pics. I had the chicken with fajita veggies. So good. My sister had the nachos. Also really good. Fresh veggies. The only thing was the bathroom. It was like some dumped a ton of water on the floor but didnt mop it up! Servers SUPER nice. Awesome and i will return. Thank you. Coming from Santa Fe I was very pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the fish tacos and "borracho" beans. Excellent mezcal Manhattan and Kendall Jackson Chardonnay only $8-9. Very tasty free popcorn. Only jarring note: door handles were rifles...but I guess that's a good use for them. A fitting replacement for the classic La Paella, Me and Julio offers casual Tex-Mex dining. Free popcorn shouldn’t distract you from the excellent appetizers. Tacos run the gamut from traditional to modern, with freshly made tortillas that make them shine. Churros are a fantastic dessert choice. We've recently moved nearby and had the chance to stop by several weekends. Every time we've had a great experience and weren't dissapointed. The food is great, drinks are poured well, and the service is prompt even when it's busy. live music on the patio every Saturday as well that we can hear from our backyard.
