Really delighted with our 1st experience at McGarry’s Pub!! The pub has an authentic feel, and the staff was very welcoming. We were there for lunch on a Friday, and it was busy, but the service was first-rate. I had a superb Rueben with a side salad. The corn beef was very lean and plentiful. And it was best side salad I’ve ever been served, it had mixed greens, tomatoes, cucumbers and more. My wife had the avocado BLT and she said it was fantastic. I had the Curd Burger and it was delicious! My husband had the Short Rib Stroganoff and enjoyed that, too. Our waitress was great, it seemed a little slower to get drinks and our food, but we weren't in a hurry, so we didn't mind. Gave us more time to chat and enjoy the evening. We were there on a Monday evening and sat in the dining area and it was great for conversation. One of best kept foodie secrets in the state of Minnesota! I can't say enough positive things about McGarry's Pub. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is perfect (especially the back dinning area with the oversized booths and wooden floor), everything is made fresh from scratch and you can order most of the delicacies to take home (loafs of their delicious dark bread, containers of their made from scratch salad dressings, containers of their side dishes, etc).
